Are grandparents not the absolute best!? So many of my most cherished memories include my grandparents, and Jake is so lucky to have a similar story. Jake's grandma, Ruth, is so special to our hearts that we named "Hattie Ruth" after her.
Our lives are so much richer because of our grandparents, and we pray Hattie's is, too! My dad, now lovingly known as "Papa" fields FaceTime calls from Hattie on a daily basis, and he is just as excited to see her little face as the day, sometimes hour, before.
For those of us who are lucky enough to have these important figures in our lives, whether it be our own grandparents or our parents who are now grandparenting our children, I believe they deserve to be celebrated.
I don't know about your parents, but our parents are so hard to buy for. For Christmas this year, we gifted Jake's mom and stepdad a special photoshoot with Hattie, and I know we will all cherish those photos forever– especially Hattie as she grows older. What I would give to have more photos with my grandparents.
