So many newborns in the studio lately and their perfect, tiny details just fill my heart with so much joy! Many mamas are unsure about the best time to schedule sessions for their families, so I want to chat about some important details today!
First and foremost, it's never too late or too early to schedule a session with me.
- Maternity sessions are *typically* best done between 28-32 weeks when you're still feeling good but not quite ready to pop! However, my last mama was in here at 38 weeks– just 9 days before her induction, and their session was absolutely beautiful!
- Newborn sessions are *typically* best shot within baby's first 10 days of life while they're still sleepy and haven't hit their first growth spurt yet when they often cluster feed like crazy. However, (did you see this caveat coming?😉) 10 days is NOT a hard rule. Because of Covid, I have done two "older" newborn sessions, and they were just as perfect as my 5-day-old sweetie who was in here last week!
Regardless, the sooner you book your session the better! I only take a limited number of sessions each month, so I can serve my clients well and ensure every mama has the stress-free experience she deserves! ✨
