I know that your time is valuable, and I know that soaking in those long-awaited newborn snuggles or making memories with your family is way more important than coordinating your family's wardrobe while planning the details of your session.
I know, because I've been there, too.
The stress of portraits is real no matter the age of your babies or your season of motherhood. This is why I created an experience that eliminates the stress and serves you by taking care of all of the details so you can spend your time where it matters most.
From personalized styling with an elegant studio wardrobe for mamas and babes to the delivery and installation of your heirloom artwork, no detail is left out of creating an experience that makes you feel loved, beautiful, and honored.
You won't have to worry about a thing, mama!
“WHATEVER YOU LONG FOR,
GIVE TO OTHERS”
1 | CONSULTATION
Once you have decided we are a great match, we will schedule a consultation that fits your schedule– either in my studio, over the phone, or by email. During this time, we will discuss your ideas and expectations, and plan all of the details from what you'll wear to the artwork you wish to create for your home. This planning session takes care of the nitty-gritty so you can relax and enjoy your time on the day of your session.
2 | YOUR SESSION
The majority of sessions take place in my studio and blocked scheduling allows for a stress-free start time. This means if you arrive early, you won't have to wait to start, and, more importantly, you won't need to worry if you're running behind. You're welcome anytime during your allotted time block!
I will guide you through your entire session and invest as much time as necessary to ensure we create the vision we discussed together.
After your session, we will schedule your ordering appointment, and I will get to work on carefully selecting and editing your best images.
3 | ORDERING APPOINTMENT
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we will meet for your ordering appointment. During this time, you will view your photos as printed proofs for the first time and choose from my custom-designed fine art products that will allow you to tangibly treasure these feelings for generations to come. After extensive research, I have selected the best suppliers in the industry and all of my products are backed with a lifetime guarantee.
All of my heirloom products and digital files are purchased à la carte and are not included in the creative fee. On average, clients invest $2,550+ on their portrait session, custom artwork, and digital files.
4 | DELIVERY & INSTALLATION
As soon as your products arrive and are inspected, I will schedule a time to personally deliver them to your doorstep. Installation is available at no extra charge for families who purchase wall art.
My in-home studio is located in charming Brookside which sits just 5 miles south of downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The studio is flooded with natural, beautiful light and is stocked with anything you might need from necessities for newborns to a park nearby for older kids.
Cleanliness is a top priority, so there is a minimum of 24 hours between sessions to ensure all surfaces are disinfected and linens are washed and sanitized between clients.
All of my sessions include styling services and access to my ever-growing studio wardrobe for moms, dads, and babes. I have spent countless hours sourcing the most flattering dresses for mamas, the sweetest ensembles for babies and children, and coordinating shirts for dads. I offer a range of sizes and colors, so there is truly something for everyone.
The majority of clothing that you see in my portfolio has been borrowed from the studio wardrobe. Clients are able to try on or select clothing during our planning session. Of course, you are more than welcome to wear your own, and the same goes for your children and partner. If you choose the latter, I will gladly provide personalized styling recommendations and examples for your entire family.
IF YOU LOVE WHAT YOU'VE SEEN, AND YOU'RE EXCITED TO CREATE THIS EXPERIENCE WITH YOUR FAMILY, I WOULD LOVE TO CHAT WITH YOU!
