Granola Balls


I've been making for years. They're so easy to make, versatile, and loved by our whole family. I have to pack Hattie two snacks for school and this is always one because they're filled with healthy fats + protein! 


Postpartum + nursing mamas- these are a great snack for you to have on hand, too! I practically lived off of them Hattie's first few weeks. They feel like a treat and the recipe is already packed full of milk-boosting ingredients but you can add even more with the addition of brewer's yeast and they're still just as tasty!


Mix:

  • 1 c. Nut butter of your choice
  •  1/4 c. Honey or sweetener of your choice to taste
  • 2 TBS Coconut oil, melted
  • A few dashes of vanilla
  • Salt to taste

Add:

  • 1 c. Oats
  • 2 TBS Chia and/or flax (we do a mix)
  • 1/4 c. Collagen or protein powder

Other mix in ideas:

  • Chocolate chips
  • Shredded coconut
  • Dried fruit
  • Chopped nuts

 

I use a small cookie scoop, roll them into balls, and pop in the fridge for the week.
